Refund and Returns Policy

The Academy of Sewing, is committed to providing high-quality digital products to support your sewing journey. Since all of our products are digital downloads, our refund policy is designed to reflect the nature of these products.
No Refunds on Digital Products
All sales of PDF sewing patterns, eBooks, templates, and other digital downloads are final and non-refundable. Once a digital file has been purchased and downloaded, it cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.
Exceptions for Refunds
Refunds will only be considered in the following situations:
- You received the wrong file due to an error on our part.
- The file is corrupt or cannot be accessed, and we are unable to provide a working replacement.
Troubleshooting Before Requesting a Refund
If you encounter any issues with your digital download, please try the following before submitting a refund request:
- Redownload the File: Sometimes, downloads may be incomplete due to internet connection issues.
- Check Your Software: Ensure you are using an updated PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat, Preview (Mac), or another compatible application.
- Try a Different Device: If you are having trouble opening the file, try downloading and opening it on another device.
How to Request a Refund (If Applicable)
If you believe you qualify for a refund, please email us at support@theacademyofsewing.com with the following details:
- A screenshot of the error message (if applicable)
- The device and software you are using to open the file
- A description of the issue
We will review your request and, if the issue is verified, we will either provide a replacement file or issue a refund if a fix is not possible.
